Elizabeth Moller began dancing in her hometown of Staten Island, NY. She received training from The Rock School for Dance Education and Houston Ballet Academy and received scholarships for summer intensives with the School of American Ballet, The Rock School and Houston Ballet Academy. In 2014, she joined Houston Ballet II. This is her first season with Texas Ballet Theater.

I began dancing at the age of eight!

My mom enrolled me and I loved it from day one!

Romeo and Juliet and Nacho Duarte’s Jardi Tancat
What is your favorite ballet to perform/what is your favorite role you have performed?
My favorite ballet that I have performed is George Balanchine’s Serenade
What surprised you the most about being a professional dancer?
The biggest surprise about being a professional dancer is how much fun the process of getting ready for a performance is! Even though rehearsals are tough, learning to perfect a work is so rewarding and exciting!
What is your favorite movie/TV show?
My favorite movie is The Breakfast Club and my favorite TV show is Parks and Recreation

My favorite song is Angeles by Elliott Smith
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
I would love to be a journalist for a newspaper!
Who has been most influential to your life of dancing?
My biggest influence is my first ballet teacher, Ellen Tharp. She has taught me so much about determination and fulfilling your dreams!
What is your favorite part of a performance?
My favorite part of performing is sharing a different side of me with the audience. I love embodying different characters or expressing different emotions through dance!
