While growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, David Schrenk began his training at The Florida Ballet Training Center. At 10 years old, he started ballet in order to aid his gymnastics training but eventually converted entirely to dancing. At the age of 17, he joined Houston Ballet’s second company. This summer, after a year of training at Houston Ballet, David moved north to join Texas Ballet Theater.
